The Tigers answered with their own five goal run to cut the lead to 14-12 after three. Give Hopkins credit for surviving that run and winning the 4th quarter 4-0 and the game 18-12. Garrett Degnon added 4 goals for Hopkins while Kyle Berkeley had 4 for the Tigers.
The big game of the weekend happened in College Park where #9 Loyola played the #2 Maryland. Attackmen Logan Wisnaukas continued his hot start with 3 goals and 3 assists. The Terps used a 10 goal second quarter to take a 14-5 lead at halftime. Jonathan Donville and Eric Malever scored three goals apiece for the Terps. Adam Poitras led the Greyhounds with 2 goals and 2 assists.
In Annapolis Navy used a 64-24 shot advantage to beat Mercer 15-5. Jack Sweeney had 4 goals for the Midshipmen while Patrick Skalniak had 3 goals and 2 assists. Navy also won the ground ball battle 44-25.
Earlier today #4 Georgetown scored 13 of the last 16 goals to beat Hopkins 16-8. Brendan Grimes had 3 goals while Joey Epstein added two for the Jays.
